Church = Community
At FLC we believe that church is not just about what we do on a Sunday morning. Church is a family, a community, who meet together to worship God but who also live their lives together. Jesus told us that loving other people is second only in importance to loving God (Matthew 22:39). In response to this we want to build relationships between our members and people in our communities which go beyond the superficial acquaintances that are formed on a Sunday morning, to lasting friendships and a network of people who love and support one another.
We seek to do this through two main areas:
Firstly our fortnightly Life Groups who meet together in people’s homes to deepen their relationship with God and each other.
Secondly our various social groups including Connect Live and the Yorkie Club which come under the banner of Connected.
