Conformed to His Image

The New Testament tells us that, as Christians, we are being both conformed and transformed into the image of Christ.

This is an on going process that won’t be completed until “the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).

But what does Christ’s image look like?

In this series we will work through chapters 8-10 of Matthew’s Gospel. We’ll discover some of the characteristics that Jesus exhibited in his ministry whilst on earth and consider how we can see him not just as our Lord and Saviour, but also our example, as we are conformed more and more into his image.

For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. (Romans 8:29)

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
