Vision 2014

In the latter stages of 2013, God began forming a new vision within the leadership team of Full Life Church. He showed us what he wanted our fellowship to look like and how we should function as a community of believers; supporting one another as we live the life that he has planned for each one of us.

So, on the first Sunday of 2014, we had a vision setting Sunday to tell the rest of the church about this new direction that we believe God is leading us in. We intended the vision setting sermon to be a one-off, with the vision being explored further in the Life Group over the following weeks. However, God started to speak to the congregation in a very clear and powerful way following that first Sunday in January, and the vision setting continued, week by week, with Ste preaching as he felt God was leading him for the rest of the month.

In addition to the new vision for the fellowship that was presented the first week, this ultimately led to God giving the church a new location and focus in the city, a new building to meet in and a renewed passion to see him work through us to bring glory to his name in Preston.

This has been an exciting time for Full Life Church and it is just the beginning of what we believe God is planning to do with us over the next year and beyond. You can hear how this vision developed throughout January 2014 by listening to the sermons on the right of this page.

Vision Sunday 2014
For the first Sunday of 2014 we had a vision setting Sunday,
looking at what God has been saying to us in 2013 and what
we believe his vision for Full Life Church is.

How does God want us to move forward in 2014?

Now is the Time

The promised land awaits

Following our Vision Sunday where we looked at how we will
move forward in God's plan for our fellowship during 2014,
we consider the
location where he wants to plant us.

Hear and Obey

Sometimes when God calls us to do something,
the circumstances of our situation can make it
seem like God doesn't know what he's doing
.

And this can be scary, but some of the greatest
heroes and heroines of the Bible faced this
same problem and they still obeyed God's call.
And because they obeyed, they saw him do
incredible things against the odds.

All we need to do is hear and obey.

Why are we "Full Life" Church?

As we move into our new building in our new location,
we look at something which has remained unchanged
throughout the life of our church; the name.

Why are we called "Full Life Church"? What does it mean
and how will it be reflected by our new vision?

These are fundamentally important questions about our
identity as we move into this new chapter in our
fellowship's history.
